GhostSplit just dropped browser extensions for Twitch chat 👻

If you've been using GhostSplit's split-view layout, you can now bring that same aesthetic into native twitch.tv chat. The new extension is a CSS-first cosmetic restyle that works alongside 7TV, BetterTTV, and FrankerFaceZ — no conflicts, no broken emotes. What it does: - Text-pill badges — Image badges become compact role chips (MOD, VIP, FOUNDER, PRIME, SUB, BITS, and more) - Softened username colors — Neon-bright reds, yellows, and lime greens get mixed toward the background so they stay readable on dark themes - Tighter row layout — Reduced padding, baseline-aligned badges and usernames, and a cap on inline emote heights - Distinct system rows — Channel-point redeems, watch-streak milestones, and sub/raid notices each get their own card style - Native + 7TV coverage — Visual rules are paired across both DOMs so your existing chat extensions keep working - Auto light/dark theme — Adapts to whatever Twitch theme you're running What it leaves alone: - Nothing interactive or load-bearing gets touched — bits/cheer button, channel-points claim flow, collapse chat, theatre mode, and 7TV's settings menu all stay exactly where they are. Privacy: No data collection, no analytics, no tracking, no remote code. The only permission is access to twitch.tv URLs.
